Last Friday I had a serious princess moment at the Reem Acra showroom. Browsing the glamorous gowns brought back nostalgic memories of my own wedding dress shopping experience (almost two years ago!) and since slipping on this stunning dove grey gown I haven't stopped dreaming about where I could possibly wear it.
Ms. Acra, known for her ready-to-wear and bridal collections delved into the beauty category recently with the launch of her fragrance. I am a big fan of sheer necklines on gowns in general, as they seem to give a really clear and refined ethereal feel to the dress. Additionally, the finely layered bottom is just divine. It really makes it seem like you are floating on a cloud in heaven!

If its any consolation I am a styling student at the Academy of art university in san francisco and have been working like crazy to prepare my portfolio to show to publications to get an internship in NYC. I am actually due to to fly into NYC the sunday before the show to meet with a few people, and it would be so surreal to see these gowns come to life on the runway! Ever since I was little I have wanted to become a fashion designer. I have been watching Project Runway from its beginning. I spend all of my time learning about fashions and different designers. Being at a runway show and being able to see all of the parts of the show would be insane. The fashion show is the day before my birthday on the 12 which would be an added bonus!
