As mentioned last week, I've been escaping the confines of our apartment and seeking cozy cafes to work from. Enter my go-to neighborhood gem: Cafe Minerva. Not only do I come for the free wifi but the food (for every meal) is pretty scrumptious. Plus as an added bonus, they have $20 bottles of wine. So there's that.
I love that this quaint joint turns into a magical candle-lit dining room in the evenings, buzzing with locals. My guy and I met up for a spontaneous mid-week date night last Wednesday (such a treat!) and after a failed attempt to get into a few spots, Cafe Minerva saved the evening as we were able to snag a table right away.

It's somewhat comforting to have a favorite spot that you find yourself returning to again and again. When the waiters start to recognize you, know how you like your coffee and/or ask how you're doing. I just love that.

i absolutely love spending the afternoon working in my local coffee shop. i always feel more motivated / inspired when i get out of the house for a bit. cafe minerva looks wonderful!

Charming coffee shop! We are Panera frequenters - that's the only place with wifi nearby. But I'm not complaining! They have delicious sandwiches and soups :) It would be nice to have a local joint, though!
