Black, White and Neon Pink

Prabal Gurung for Target Tee.  gifted Ted Baker Jacket.
Vince Leather Pants.  DVF Booties.  Jennifer Fisher Bangles.

Last week my ever so thoughtful mom sent me this Prabal Gurung for Target floral tee which perfectly accented my neon pink jacket. I of course felt the need to edge up my look with leather pants but the bold pop of color was a welcomed change from the amount of neutrals I've been wearing lately.

After a long search for the perfect white bag to take me into spring and summer, this Alice + Olivia tote fits the bill! I'm smitten with the black detailing and the fact that the bottom is black as well, making me less weary about setting it down. I don't baby my bags so as much as I have dreamed about a buttery soft white purse, this embossed leather is a much more practical choice. Hence, my love for my pebbled leather Phillip Lim Pashli.

I hope you had a great weekend! My guy and I were super boring very responsible and spent President's Day working on our taxes. He actually gets all of the credit but I was in charge of the playlist and snacks. We make a great team!

Ugh, you have no idea how badly I want to get into a Target and see the collection! But by the time I make it back to the states it'll be all picked over :/

I am married to an accountant so I totally get your President's Day comments. I know it WAS, in fact, super boring; but you might as well learn to live with it. These responsible types don't change! Snacks and playlist sounds like a plan I can get behind. P.S. Love the bag!

Love the pants and the bag! I don't believe in babying bags either so it is important to take sturdiness into account!

Who is your colorist in NYC? I live in DC but my sister is in Manhattan so I'm there a lot. I have naturally dark auburn hair and would love to be more of a redhead.

Alicia Lund said...

@Beth M ~ I see Inva at Arrojo... who I definitely recommend if you're thinking of going red. She's great with color and always gets my hair the exact shade of red I want. ;)

Alicia, thank you! I'll have to try Arrojo/Inva next time I'm in NYC. Since my hair is already a reddish brown, it's not too drastic of a change, but going red red usually takes a lot of maintenance every few weeks so I'll see how much I want to do. I love your shade of bright red.
