I re-dyed my hair this weekend and went a bit brighter with the red this time around (as you may be able to tell from these photos). I can't quite decide if it's too much but after a few washes I think it will be just right. This red thing is high maintenance, don't let me fool you. In other news from the weekend, I'm finally over my lingering cold. Phew, that was a deusey! Everyone seems to be sick right now so be sure to drink lots of tea (my cure all!).
This vest was another Helmut Lang sample sale score from last month. I love that it matches my bag perfectly!

I'm an unnatural redhead, as well, and it really is high-maintenance! I usually find the initial dye job a little too harsh for my skin tone, but after a few washes, it becomes the perfect color. I feel ya, girl!

The whole red thing is addictive! I recently went back to brown after 3 years of red! After awhile you cant tell what is TOO red anymore! I think red is my favorite though of all the haircolors I've been.

red is so high maintenance!!! something that has helped me is using this shampoo called riveting reds along with aveda's madder root conditioner. it can seriously amp up my hair when it's in those "faded" weeks. the shampoo is super-cheap and works so well.
