Weekend Mini Moments {Dannijo Jewels + Candy Colored Polishes}

If I had to sum up my weekend in one word it would be: girly. And it was just perfect.

The chillier temps have made leaving my apartment seem less than enticing but I'm happy to report that I bundled up and spent most of the weekend out and about. Friday night I met my girlfriend at one of our favorite cafes for the chance to catch up on our weeks and chat about our hopes of making it to Paris this spring. As soon as I left my apartment to meet her it started snowing, making our girls night feel especially romantic. It really was a magical night to be in New York! Saturday my guy ran off to hang with the boys so I indulged in a leisurely "me" day perusing Pinterest, painting my nails, cleaning (yea okay not quite as fun but needed to happen) and another night out just with the girls.

Another weekend highlight: dinner at Palma in the West Village. After walking past this adorable spot for months and hearing great things from my girlfriend Jenny, my guy and I finally ate there on Sunday evening. The heated garden patio is completely adorable and the homemade pasta is delicious. You must go!

Next up on my wish-list of date night spots to try: Smith & Mills (have you been?!).

Dannijo Jewels from their spring / summer 2013 collection.

Created a gallery wall of frames on the wall above our couch (will share finished result soon).

Testing candy colored Estee Lauder polishes. (Um, hello spring fever.)

It made me so happy to wake up to snow covered rooftops on Saturday morning.

Macarons (you can always count on them to be photogenic).

Hope you had a great weekend!

I'm having spring fever as well right now, I love the nail colours you've chosen. Those macarons, they look delish, I've never tried or have even seen them anywhere....is this a NYC thing? I see them all over Instagram and blogs but can't seem to find them anywhere.

The Dannijo showroom does have some great decor inspiration! I love the layout of old books, keys and I especially love the bull horns (and the piece on it)!

Do you have a favorite macaron spot? Those look especially colorful.
