This past weekend after brunching with my girlfriend Meghan we went to check out the new Joie store in Meatpacking. It's just dreamy (as is the decor in all of their boutiques) and if someone told me I could move in I totally would! I fell in love with these Mariner pants and thought they felt especially fresh in yellow. They're so comfy that I'm tempted to go back for a more basic black or blue pair (side note: I'm also crushing on this sportier version that would look perfect paired with white pumps), but I like that the bright yellow makes a bold statement... especially when walking amongst a sea of black on the New York sidewalks. Woah that was a long sentence! I hope you're all having a great week, I can't believe it's already Thursday!

Since recently working on this market story for Elle.com I've been excited about wearing earrings again. I tend to go through phases but I'm back on a kick and bought this pair while shopping in Palm Beach.
