A Sunny Escape {Palm Beach getaway with Lilly Pulitzer}

Shopping along Worth Avenue in Lilly Pulitzer top and pants.

Happy, happy 2013! I couldn't be more thankful / have asked for a more ideal way to end 2012 than a relaxing, sunshine-filled getaway to Palm Beach, Florida with iconic prints brand: Lilly Pulitzer. Joined by blogging girlfriends Christine and Helena, we spent the weekend exploring the area where Lilly Pulitzer started her colorfully-printed collection years ago.

We kicked off the trip with a breakfast outing to The Breakers (a stunning beachfront resort). After multiple cups of coffee and a hearty vegetable omelette we shopped at the Lilly Pulitzer boutique and explored the grounds, peeking into the unbelievable ball rooms (anyone need to host an eventsee below.).

Each dressing room was uniquely Lilly (the starfish were a nice touch!).

Everything I packed for the trip felt too wintery (you may remember that I packed carry-on for both California and Florida) so I admittedly wore this outfit both out on Saturday night, as well as on Sunday while shopping.

Christine unfortunately flew out earlier on Sunday but Helena and I spent the afternoon on Worth Avenue. What a beautiful shopping strip! I kept thinking I was somewhere in southern California.

My gorgeous camera-gal trying on my sunglasses.

Now that I'm back and bundled up in chilly New York it's almost hard to believe that just a few days ago I was walking around in a tank top. I flew back in time to spend New Years Eve with my guy and yet unfortunately came down with a cold so we ended up canceling our evening plans opting for take-out and a movie instead. Not the most exciting way to ring in 2013... but nonetheless I'm very excited for the new year and what's to come

Thanks again to Lindsay and Heather and the rest of the Lilly team for showing us around Palm Beach and the much needed sunny escape!

Those pants are amazing! That print would also be great for a jumpsuit (which is what I thought you were originally wearing). What a blessing to be able to spend a weekend in warm weather with some friends!
