2013... Let's do this!

 A new year, a new business card holder. 

I'm not a big new year's resolution person, however I do love the idea of a fresh start and accomplishing goals no matter how small is always a good thing. Having been sick for the past couple of days, 2013 hasn't gotten off to the most productive of starts but at least it's given me time to really think about what I'd like to strive for in this new year. As you know I quit my 9 to 5 job and have been doing this freelance thing for over a year now. It's been quite the ride... one that I don't always talk about here but something I'm happy that I've been able to pursue. Now back to the resolution part. You see, I'm a little all over the place, constantly diving into various projects (taking on a writing assignment here and a styling gig there... it's the Libra in me!) however this year I'm hoping to focus my efforts and seek out opportunities that excite me the most. So there it is. I've put it out into the ethers and you can hold me to it. As Confucius said, "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life"... easier said then done right? Here's to pushing our comfort zones a bit more this year.

Happy to be back in New York, even if I thought my fingers were going to fall off yesterday.
