East Village Wandering

Vince Leather Jacket.  Current/Elliot Jeans.  gifted Otte Ellen Sweater and Nine West x Pamela Love Boots
The Row Sunglasses.  Alexander Wang Bag.  Gorjana Necklaces.

Even though I grew up in a small town, I think I've always been a city girl (or was meant to be). I love discovering quaint bookstores and new-to-me cafes, funky vintage shops, restaurants with charm, graffiti walls, brownstones that I dream about living in and the list goes on. One of my favorite weekend activities is to take off from our apartment without an end destination in mind. My guy and I love to wander around until our legs get tired (or I complain about being cold) then usually stop somewhere new to eat.

Have you discovered any new-to-you spots in your own city / neighborhood recently?

Apparently the heavens opened up and the angels are singing because we have a new churro shop two blocks from our apartment. Happiest day ever!

It's not new to me, but since Sandy has me working at home I've been spending a lot more time in my neighborhood cafe Local (on Sullivan Street). I think you leave in/near my hood, so you should try it out! I highly recommend the avocado toast.

@Our Wedding ~ oh that you for the recommendation, I'll definitely have to go sometime soon to try their avocado toast! ;)

We walked around and found spaces when it was warm but not so much now. We live just outside the city so its more difficult now, in the colder months

Love the jeans, and the East Village looks so cool! Lately I've discovered the Silver Lake area of LA, and I'm really enjoying exploring it!
Keep calm and carry lipstick.

our only used/vintage home store just closed on our island. i've been bummed not knowing what would replace it. then a friend told me last week that there's another new(ish) one that works out of a storage facility in the middle of nowhere. my guess is it will either be a bust or a totally great find. going to check it out tomorrow!

This is basically the reason I started my main website torontoshopoholic.com. I love wandering the city and finding gems.
