After a rough start to the week, I'm thankful to have escaped Sandy's wrath and am currently re-charging in California. A hot shower and home cooked meal (thanks Mom) was exactly what the doctor ordered. I'm now off to Monterey for the weekend to celebrate my college roomie's wedding. I can't wait to see her walk down the aisle and to celebrate with champagne toasts and late night dancing with some of my favorite people. My heart continues to go out to all of my East Coasters, including my guy who unfortunately is still in the dark at our place, and my fingers are crossed that the city gets back into somewhat of a normal groove soon.
PS: These photos are pre-Sandy (I felt very seasonally appropriate in a mix of burgundy, camel and a hint of metallic last week). Enjoy your weekend!
