For as long as I can remember one of my favorite Thanksgiving memories has always been waking up at my grandparent's house to the delicious smell of coffee and the Macy's Day Parade on the TV. Since this was my first Thankgiving in New York City, I decided to partake in both the blowing up of the balloons the evening before (I coerced my friend and talented photographer Lydia to come with me) as well as the parade on Thursday. And you know what, despite the crazy crowds I'm so glad I did. Oh and instead of Black Friday shopping today, my guy and I are headed out to buy our first Christmas tree, yay!

The parade is definitly somthing I miss watching with my family! We would cozy up on the couch with Pillsbury cinnamon rolls up until recently when we all moved to different states. I'd love to see the parade in person!!

This spread is so peppy and joyful! Much to the chagrin of my husband and bro-in-law, I insisted on having the parade on in the background during Tofurky Day prep. I'm jealous/happy for you that you got to see it live! Perfect outfit for it, btw :)
