Stripes + Floral (my favorite look) at the J.Crew Presentation.
Yesterday I enjoyed both the Tory Burch show and J.Crew presentation as well as a more leisurely pace to the afternoon. I grabbed coffee with Samantha of Could I Have That? at Once Upon a Tart, caught up on email (finally) and am in the process of getting our apartment back into it's pre-fashion week state. My clothes and shoes are admittedly all over the place... whoops. How has your week been?!
With one of my favorite red heads, Samantha (I'm wearing an Otte Signature Jumpsuit).
Bold frames, colorful eyes, playful sparkly earrings and orange lips = "Nerdy Chic" ala Jenna Lyons.

Current beauty favorites: dark grey-blue + oxblood nails and lips.
Flawless, dewy skin on a model patiently getting her makeup done.
My friend Grace gave me these cool Eddie Borgo inspired nails (see her tutorial here) that I plan to wear on a simple chain. Also excited about my Cynthia Rowley beetle ring (from Rue La La) and Giles and Brother Cuff.

I love the beetle ring! This past summer I bought some bee earrings from Target -- they're some of my favorites! What better way to enjoy bugs than to have them on jewelry (rather than having to touch the bugs themselves -- ew!)? :)
