I walk past the Cynthia Rowley boutique almost everyday and after stalking this cascading bow skirt (which by the way I want in every single color) for weeks I finally pulled the trigger and made it mine. I definitely didn't need a new fancy party skirt, or actually have an occasion in mind to wear it to but I had a feeling that the right party would come along. And sure enough this week it did! I was excited to have a chance to wear it out on Wednesday evening to the Glamour Live Party in celebration of Diet Coke's new sleek can design. Pretty fancy right?!
Earlier this year, Diet Coke teamed up with CFDA and invited students to design a t-shirt that would be sold in Targets cross country. I thought the winning design by Gustavo Alonso was great (you can check it out here).
Here's to hoping for another fun excuse to prance around in this skirt soon. Hmm, maybe my birthday?

I love the color of the skirt- it's a bit unexpected, which makes it even more of a statement. That Cynthia Rowley store is a dangerous one to have to pass everyday. Although, also very inspiring, I'm sure. Have a lovely weekend!
