For those of you who follow me on Twitter and/or Instagram you may have already caught on to the fact that following the Hamptons, my guy and I took off for a cross country road trip. It all started as a spontaneous idea (we needed to get his truck back to California from New York) and has quickly turned into one of my favorite vacations. Here are a few highlights from this past weekend in Chicago. We thoroughly enjoyed the city and thank you again to those who gave me recommendations. I'll be sharing more photos from our drive westward soon!

Fabulous pics! I drove cross country from MD to Cali and it was brutal! (Nothing glamerous about it) but the pics we took and things we saw were amazing! It makes for a lifetime of memories so treasure them =)

Chicago! My parents met there and my entire life all I've heard about is how wonderful Chicago is compared to LA. I went last fall for the first time...and I knew I forgot to visit something! Buckingham Fountain, how could I have missed you? Did you have an italian beef sandwich while you were there? Ah-mah-zing!

Chicago is one of my all time favorite cities. Luckily for us, we live about 2.5 hours away. Great shots of the city!
