Instead of looking like a shiny sunscreen mess when heading to the pool or beach I'll swipe on a touch of bronzer and smudge a bit of eye liner in the corners of my eyes for a no fuss beach day appropriate look. Simply play up the smokey eyes and your au naturale beach hair when heading out later that night and you're set! I love your blog so much!! And i have red hair and freckles..lol..so I know what you mean about the fair skin thing..I live at the beach, so I have to really cover up my face, so far no wrinkles tho, and I'm almost 40..I think the freckles keep me looking young!!:) xoxo

If only I had learned to embrace my fair skin while I'm on a Florida beach vacation. It just couldn't handle the transition from cloudy English days to the unrelenting rays in the sunshine state. Next time I'll opt for the sunscreen and bronzer!
