Snow Day, Color Play

Zara Pumps.  Dannijo Necklace.  Oia Jules Bracelet (Etsy).  Gorjana Rings.

I woke up to a lovely sheet of white snow yesterday. Snow... (I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that just last week I was prancing around in shorts)! And since there was no way I was pulling out my winter coat I decided to freeze just a little, all in the name of fashion. My jeans and tee proved to be the ideal neutral palette to accent with pops of pink and orange. I painted my nails, threw on a neon necklace and colored my lips with MAC Show Orchid before walking out the door. This is what I call a 'winter-meets-spring' ensemble.

*Confession: I later transitioned from heels to boots.

@Doux Rousse - yep, they were too long on me so I cut the hem off (I have worn them on the blog rolled but not straight leg which is why you wouldn't have known).

Welcome to the East Coast, my friend! Just when you think winter is over, it gets you one last time! Thankfully we've been hit with a ton of rain instead of snow, but it never ceases to be mindblowing! Love that you refused to give in to the weather with all of these gorgeous pops of color! So fun!

I can't believe you got snow! When I saw your photo on Instagram I thought it was an old snow pile that hadn't melted yet, not new snow! Hopefully it warms up for you soon. In the meantime your winter-meets-spring outfit is lovely and I'm still drooling over your satchel :)

That collar just converted me to liking the look of them. Before I thought they were twee and predictable, but this outfit is beyond chic.
Those pops of colour are anything but boring. I especially love the cardigan, it's such a perfect shade of pink.
Happy snow day!

I'm obsessed with that necklace (and most things Dannijo); is it as gorgeous in real life as it is in photos? And I love that you styled it with jeans and a tee! It's fun wearing pretty jewelry on regular days.

It is exactly a mixture of spring and summer. If I was in your place I would have opted for a colored tee.
