Bald Head Island

We've been spring breakin' it up with friends in Bald Head Island, North Carolina this week. Our only decisions to make over the past few days have been whether to lounge beachside or on the deck at the house (overlooking the beach). We couldn't have lucked out with better weather (it almost feels more summer-like than spring) and one of my favorite parts about this sleepy island is the fact that cars aren't allowed (we've been cruising around in oversized golf carts and on beach cruiser bikes). Afternoon bocce ball, gourmet bbq's, experimenting with various cocktail concoctions (my new favorite is pictured below) and beach bonfires make it tough to leave.

Cocktail of the day: Pineapple flavored Coconut Water + Whiskey + Lime Wedge.

Sounds like an incredibly peaceful getaway! I finally had a chance to catch up on your posts and noticed you picked Chanel's "June" polish for the trip. I went with the same one for last week's vacation in Florida. It's too perfect for spring getaways.

Alicia said...

@Catherine - I can't take the credit - my friend's came up with it and call it the Majestic! And I'm a huge fan of it because I'm obsessed with Coconut H20. ;)
