Topshop Beetle Necklace.
This beetle necklace is a little out of my 'Friday Finds' price range but its too awesome not to showcase in it's own post. I have a bit of a peculiar soft spot for bug statement pieces (an equally creepy and cool combination).
PS: It was snowing when we snapped these photos hence the slightly blurred image below / grimacing face, but I wanted you to get an idea of how realistically life-size these beetles actually are.

i have a sterling silver dragonfly pendant/brooch, which my grandfather found from a commissioned metal artist in baltimore back in the 1980s. very bodacious, and a tad creepy-crawly.

cute necklace! however, i've been a subscriber of your blog for awhile and i have to say what you think is stylish doesn't mean it always works for your body. clearly you're a very intelligent, mature woman. it looks like your clothes are wearing you with all the dramatic silhouettes. i guess it's just all the too-big coats. is this a new york thing?
