Sparkle

Joie Blouse.  gifted JBrand Jeans (similar).  Alexander Wang Bag.  Target Fedora.  Miu Miu Heels.

I'm gearing up for New Year's Eve with sparkly coated jeans, similar to my leather-esque jeans in teal but with a subtle hint of unexpected sparkle.

Do you have exciting plans, or more importantly, have you decided what to wear?!

Did you cut the ribbon off the target hat? I've been wanting to get it so badly, but the band bothered me. I LOVE how it looks here, though!

You look just gorgeous in these photos - wish I could wear that color blouse, but I end up looking like death because I'm so pale...but it looks beautiful & ethereal on you!

1. Love the hat. Like I'd maybe try to steal it off your head in a crowd. 2. You just convinced me not to return my gap sparkly jeggings. 3. I really need to make NYE plans because I'm a serious slacker monkey!

Typically when you see sparkle it adorns shoes, bags, tops and various accessories --- never before have I seen such a subtle sheen like that on a jean! It's a very unique way to spice up an outfit and stand out in the crowd. Beautiful!

LOVE those jeans! I like how you call this "gearing up for New Years", it's perfect. I do think I know what I'm wearing but true to myself will probably change it last minute.

Great pants! This year for NYE, I'll be wearing a silver sequined mini, even though I'm obsessed with gold- I'm trying something new.

I actually just did a post featuring my NYE dress from last year, check it out here http://shoeschampagne.blogspot.com

That blouse is so pretty and love the glitter jeans! I just got a pair of J Brand coated jeans and it wasn't until after I got them that I saw the glitter ones.
I have very casual NYE plans, but I was thinking about wearing this draped Rachel Pally dress with a new Elizabeth & James double-breasted jacket that I found on Monday while shopping at the outlets.

Love this look - especially how the pants have a bit of shimmer to them :) I think a loose blouse and great black pants is an undeniable combo!

Love this look -- wishing I had a pair of sequined pants for this weekend -- but a sequined blazer will have to suffice! PS. Love the shorter hair!

I love the blouse, and recently you've been convincing me I must get a fedora!

Alicia said...

@Rachel - Yes you must, hats are such a fun accessory to play around with!

Alicia said...

@Doux Rousse - Yes, I cut the feathers and ribbon off the fedora to make it look more like the J.Crew version. ;)
