My husband's business school winter formal was this past weekend, and instead of sequins or satin I opted for this leather number. I chose to wear leather partly because I knew I would be freezing walking to and from the dance, but mainly because I wasn't feeling the typical festive attire. This holiday season I'll most likely be contrasting all party related ensembles with leather details. Sequin dresses with leather jackets and little black leather dresses paired with sparkly shoes are more up my alley this year.
PS: Here we are mid-dancing (it was a masquerade themed party)!

Absolutely love all of these, but the one you wore is probably my favorite. I have been on the hunt for the perfect L.L.D. forever now but can't seem to find one that I like and can actually afford. I'm thinking I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and splurge. Maybe next time we have a big party or event. Such a cute pic of you and your hub.

I am seriously lusting after both the Bottega Veneta and the Helmut Lang one. In fact, I just featured the gray version of the Helmut Lang one on my site paired with some Frank Gehry for Tiffany & Co. bangles I'm obsessing over.
