Velvet Luxe

Vince Leather Jacket.  Charlotte Ronson Vest.  JCrew Skirt.  Current/Elliot Tee.
Jeffrey Campbell Boots.  Linda Farrow for the Row Sunglasses.  JewelMint Ring.  Dannijo Earrings.

Yesterday's WhoWhatWear feature on velvet skirts inspired me to pull out this never-worn mini. I like the mixed textures and the glam feel of this ensemble but am especially happy to finally make use of this skirt!

I love how you toughened up the velvet skirt with the jacket and kept it casual with the tshirt! Such a great combination!

I'm not really a huge velvet person, but I have to say, I love this skirt - and how you styled it! I'm wearing the same skirt today but in sequins... gotta love J.Crew.

When I saw WhoWhatWear's feature yesterday I was feeling a little "meh" on the velvet skirt, but you've definitely convinced me it may be worth trying!

Love the texture of this skirt! Looks so comfortable! I love the pairing with the leather jacket as it gives it a harder vibe, contrasted with the cute velvet skirt to give it a bit more femininity.

Leather jackets and girly pieces are so great together! I usually do silk but velvet is a fun option for texture -- I'll have to try it.
