November Beauty

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Perfume.

With November in full swing the harsher-than-I'm-used-to-weather has started to take a toll on my sensitive skin. The good news is I've recently acquired a winter-ready beauty routine that I'm more than positive will get me through the next few months. My new regime includes a heavy yet non-greasy day cream (with the necessary spf 15!), a few drops of RODIN olio lusso on the cheeks and a thick, lovely smelling night cream. For the eyes I've been using the two cremes pictured below (Chanel for day and Estee Lauder for night). And I can't leave the apartment without my minted rosebud salve, RODIN crema for the hands and a floral spritz as the finishing touch!

Rosebud Salve.  gifted Estee Lauder DayWear Creme.  Chanel Sublimage La Creme.
Ultra Correction Line Repair Eye Cream.  gifted Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream

I think a lot of folks don't think to switch up their routines from summer to winter --- these are some amazing products that are neither too heavy or greasy. Minted Rosebud Salve is a lifesaver, for sure!

You have the most perfect beauty products to keep your self pampered during the cold, winter season. The rosebud salve and day cream have me intrigued.

A heavy day cream is so necessary when it gets cold, dry and windy in the Northeast. I've been wary of trying oil-based Rodin olio lusso but you and so many others seem to have such great things to say. I may just have to splurge on it.

,,,i love my rosebud salve lip balm, i put it on my lips every night before going to bed, it smells divine,,,how are EL creme's working for you?,,,i once used EL products and then was told they were designed for more mature skin,,,what's been your experience?,,,

@Rebecca - The Estee Lauder DayWear cream is my favorite. It's heavy yet non-greasy and definitely an upgrade from Cetaphil (my summer day-routine). I could see where this would be a great product for mature skin year round (it would be too thick for me in the summer) but is it perfect for fall / winter! Hope this helps!

I may have to try that cream - my face HATES winter, this will be my third and I still can't get my face to agree!

@Taylor - yes, definitely invest in a thicker day and night cream!

The winter season is so horrible on my skin too, I will have to check out some of these cremes! I feel like I shrivel up like a dried raisin, it's never pleasant.

Oohh and love the Fanning sisters :)

I can totally sympathize with you. The winter takes a toll on my skin too. I opt to use olive oil on my body, and Egyptian Magic ( all natural- can purchase at Whole Foods) and Oil of Olay advanced moisture face moisturizer.

Sounds positively luscious! I've always been a big fan of oils, and I'm delighted that they're getting to much skincare play these days!

It is cold cold cold here as well and my lips are suffering already...and so is my skin. Estee Lauder has great products. Love Day Wear and Hydrationist. Plus I use the MAC lavender oil..just a drop mixed with the moisturizer...wonderful. xo, Christina

Love these photos, Alicia - the products themselves are obviously already luxurious but putting them on top of a fashion magazine makes them seem even more so. Gorgeous! I love Coco Mademoiselle too - it's so youthful and chic!
