DIY Skull Charm

I purchased a bundle of skull beads on one of my many treks to the Garment District in New York. I thought they were a mix of both fun and quirky but besides lining them along our bookcase for a touch of Halloween decor they’ve basically remained un-used for the past few months… until recently! I decided to turn these colorful skulls into “charms” which can easily be attached to my many chain bracelets and necklaces.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Skull Beads (they can be purchased online here)
Pliers
Eye Pins
Circular Loop

Pull eye pin through bead (bottom to top) and using pliers create a loop pulling the eye pin back into the top of the skull bead (around the circular piece).

Attach skull charms to anything you’d like (gold chain and friendship bracelets are highly recommended or if you’re really looking to make a statement check out this Pamela Love necklace for inspiration).

The possibilities are endless!
