Caffeine Run {in Aztec Print}

 TEXTILE Elizabeth and James Sweater.  JBrand Jeans.
gifted Rebecca Minkoff Bag.  Linda Farrow for the Row Sunglasses.

This past weekend was unseasonably warm for Ithaca, or so I hear, and I was actually a little too hot when running out for my afternoon caffeine fix (vanilla tea). This oversized Elizabeth and James sweater isn't the most flattering item I own but boy is it cozy, and I'm smitten with the aztec-like pattern. I've been wearing it layered as a jacket with my bell bottoms and skinny jeans non-stop although it's only husband approved when belted... go figure!

I can't believe the weather has been so crazy lately. Not that I am complaining about the gorgeous weather, but it is hard to get in the holiday spirit when it's 70 degrees outside.
Lovely sweater!

So. Warm! I love soft and cozy winter jackets. Those are definitely more comfy than some peacoats that are tough and harder to bend your arm in. (Love my peacoats though...) Love those bell bottoms too!

Alicia said...

@Eileenie - You're exactly right.. peacoats can be stiff and I'm often drawn to chunky knits and layering instead of my jacket.

This coat is amazing. I'm loving the print. The bells are sweet. I like how they graze the ground concealing your shows.

I actually really like your coat (some of the aztec prints I come across aren't that nice), and it looks really warm.

I used to think I could only wear skinny jeans with over sized sweaters but you have changed my mind, flares are so much more new and fresh than my beat up cigarette pants!

That chunky sweater looks so warm & fuzzy! I love it! Also, I was wondering where you got that belt? Did it come with it? I remember you paired it with a BB Dakota jacket and was wondering if it came separate?

Thanks!
