Temps have dropped and the lingering summer humidity has finally disappeared. Fall is here, and I am beyond thrilled to experience my favorite season on the east coast. I'm looking forward to the changing colors of the leaves, cozy knit sweaters (this one by Vince has quickly become a repeater - and I currently have my eye on this one with fur trim!), my first apple picking adventure, bundling up for long walks, and college football games complete with butter popcorn and hot chocolate.

Although fall is gorgeous, the pessimist (and seasonal affective disorder sufferer) in me just can't stop thinking about the impending gloom. But you make fall look so glamorous and the pretty clothes (and accessories, especially that snakeskin bag!) make everything just a little bit more bearable ;)

I love that sweater! And yes, it was kind of chilly this past week, wasn't it? I am in need of a few knit sweaters this year. I love their slouchy look and the way they feel on my skin.

Fall is def here, I am semi-happy but more sad - It will be winter and then it will feel like it never ends, but at least cute sweaters and beanies will be abound! You look adorable in the beanie!!

You will just love fall in the Northeast - there's nothing quite like it! Chunky knits are the perfect cozy solution to a crisp fall day here.
You should roadtrip one Saturday to CT for apple picking + orchard fun. We have so many here!

,,,friday is the official 1st day of autumn!, my favorite time of year and we have a few trees here in DC with the likes of orange, red and golden colored leaves,,,love your cozy looking outfit especially the knit cap, they are my favorite to wear when the weather gets c.h.i.l.l.y,,,(smile)
