Life Update

Lavender Lemonade + Chardonnay

Long weekends equate to short and busy weeks. As anticipated the past few day flew by but I managed to capture a few images from throughout the week; refreshing lemonade, a simple dinner, new boots for fall, and one of my favorite summer snacks, figs (it's the Italian girl in me).

This weekend I'm heading out of the city again for a girls getaway with my college roommates in Carmel. I love all of the Saturday/Sunday excursions that come with summer and I am especially trying to make the most of these sacred weekends and my time in San Francisco because I will be moving to New York with my husband in August. He will be finishing up his final year of graduate school at Cornell University and I couldn't be more excited to tag along for a little back to school/east coast fun. Ithaca is no Manhattan, but I'll take what I can get!

That lemonade looks so delicious, especially on a hot and humid day. You better be ready for it moving over here to the East Coast. 90 and humid! ;) We should totally meet up, I visit NYC frequently and Ithaca is only about 2 hours from me in MA! :)

Cannot believe you're moving to the East Coat! Is it a temporary move until he finishes school? So exciting!

PS: I think I've asked you this already, but do you only use the 50mm 1.8 lens? (or was it the 1.4). You know I always love your photos.
