Flared for Life

Equipment Blouse. H&M Jacket. gifted JBrand Jeans (courtesy of Shop It To Me).
Alexander Wang Roco Bag. Michael Kors Watch. Linda Farrow for the Row Sunglasses.

I tried out a new wine bar (Pe Yale)* last night with my girlfriend Heather. Thanks to the brisk San Franciscan summer weather I was forced to layer and yet was able to wear my new JBrand Jeans, courtesy of the awesome Shop It To Me team! I've always been a huge fan of bell bottoms and these jeans have the perfect amount of flare and stretch. Mark Jacobs was recently quoted in Glamour Magazine, "don't be a slave to denim trends... wear what you like." Thank you Mark for this denim confidence; I will forever be a fan of flares and will continue to wear them even if/as they go out of style. Instead of chasing fashion trends I think it's more about figuring out what styles flatter you and make you feel your best!

*I definitely recommend Pe Yale if you're looking for a new wine bar to try. The atmosphere was chill, service excellent and wine / cheese platter delicious!

Love this look - I've been toying with the idea of wearing flares. You may have converted me.

Totally agree about the denim! everyone should just wear a shape that flatters them. I'm pretty sure flare is not my style (I'm a skinny-jeans-forever kinda girl), but they do look fabulous on you!
