Leopard on Leopard

Banana Republic Blouse, Ann Taylor Sweater, JCrew Belt & Necklace, gifted DL1961 Jeans, Vintage Miu Miu Wedges

Saturday I wore this little leopard on leopard (on even more leopard if you count the belt!) ensemble out to lunch. I have owned both the blouse and sweater for over 2, maybe 3 years and yet have never worn the two together. I think the light and dark leopard prints make for a nice contrast. Have you tried mixing the same print together?

*Oh and I must mention my new DL 1961 jeans that I have been living in for the past week. I'm loving the cropped fit (and the fact that I didn't have to get them hemmed) which perfectly accents any pump or wedge I wear!

OMG! Those jeans look amazing on you! I want a pair! I have been looking for a perfectly cropped jean that will look good with flats or heals. Where can I get DL 1961 jeans? Love the print on print too! Such a cute look!

it's a minage a twa of leopard and i dig it! i keep wanting to purchase more leopard, but i resist because well i think i may be over doing it. i'll start being referred to as the crazy cat lady and not because i own a single cat, but because i love leopard way too much.

@Michelle - haha, I've cut way down on my leopard and cheetah purchases as well. I've realized I most likely have "enough" now ;)

no hemming?! i need to check those out. i'm so short and i've pretty much come to the conclusion that i'll have to hem all of my pants myself for the rest of my life. :)

This is the second time I have seen this. My friend Maria did the leopard on leopard thing recently on her blog as well! I think it looks great and I would have never thought of it before I saw it on her. You look terrific!

My friend's blog is theartofstylesf.blogspot.com if you want to see her take on this. She did it last week, I think.

I have the same blouse...it's been a staple in my closet for years. I've never ever even considered pairing it with another leopard print. Well done. I think it looks fabulous.
