Girls with Blogs + Weekend Recap

I kicked off this past weekend with some lovely blogging ladies and cocktails (champagne for me, I've had quite the bubbly obsession lately). I enjoyed mingling with everyone and ogling all the cute outfits, necklaces in particular (see Heather's feather necklace and Tara's fab bling below). Saturday morning I jumped in my car and drove home for a quick visit with my family and the fiance, he's in California for one more week before flying off to New York. Between leisure lunches and a yummy mexican dinner downtown I managed to fit in some magazine reading and purchased this shearling leopard print fabric that I can't wait to use in an upcoming project. Another great weekend that went by too quickly.
How was your weekend?

The night at Aventine looks like it was fun, I wish I could have gotten off work early enough to make it! and you're right, those necklaces are awesome. I'm starting to think I need to add something with feathers to my jewelry line-up :)
