I love wearing normal t-shirts with a fancy jacket on top (leather, fur, blazer, etc)

Loving your inspirations. I have recently been so into faux fur, leather jackets, thick gold chain necklaces, satchels (Proenza in particular), Martin Margiela boots and Elizabeth and James Sunnies..I will take any or all from Santa!! xo

Alicia said...

@Frankie - I will take any or all of those mentioned items from Santa as well!! Great inspirations ;)

Love these photos for inspiration!
I think for me, the latest JCrew catalog is really my source of inspiration.

@FRankie - Your list is spot on! I am into black leather and soft neutrals and palest pinks. and sheer fabris...sadly I can barely wear any of that, with temps in the "feels like 7 degrees' I am only layers and layers of whatever will keep me warm!

Ah, that bustier-gorgeous! Sadly, the rain has inspired my outfit today-a big waxed overcoat and waterproof boots!

All the things you listed look so pretty. I am in love with the studded heels. Sigh.

Right now I'm loving cashmere, fur and leather...in any shade or form. Mixing soft neutrals with darker hues just takes the edge off and is not so dark and wintery.

Oh and let us not forget the sequins...which I know you never will :)

I always look towards The Sartorialist, Who What Wear and Garance Doré for inspiration. You've nailed it here.. neutrals + a bit of edge or simple + a bit of flare is always what I'm trying to achieve!!
