I honestly think the Gods of fashion created this season's trends with me in mind. Seriously you guys: animal prints, fur, sequins, oh and throw a little leather into the mix; let's just say this girl is one happy camper (or fashionista)! These trends are down right fun to play around with and I've especially enjoyed experimenting with fur. Of course I wore fur last winter yet I must admit I'm feeling much more confident sporting it this time around. In fact, when stepping out my apartment these days, I don't quite feel put together without adding a touch of faux (or real as seen here and here) to my ensembles. This casual outfit for instance didn't feel complete without the addition of this little white furry vest,* another one of my recent Forever 21 purchases.
So I'm curious, are you a fur girl?
*The 'Shabby Acrylic Vest' originally had suedette ties in the front that I cut off for a chic rather than western look.

Lovely photography! What a great colors! I haven't jumped the fur bandwagon yet, although I've seen few awesome faux fur accessories I could own this winter...
After this post, I'm a fur gal! I want to try and make my own via ps. i made this to test it out before splurging (or finding a steal at forever!) :)

You pull off casual chic better than anyone I've seen... always such a laidback coolness to your outfits! I have to admit, the fur trend has been a slow one to grow on me... but I purchased my FIRST EVER bit of faux fur last week in the form of a stole, so I'm hoping to break that out soon!

So cute Leash! It's so ture too that you were way ahead of the trends! Fur looks so darling on you! I love how you updated a cute preppy look with fur! It's a new fresh look that way. My mom has always loved faux/fur pieces and has always encoraged me to experiement esp in the fall in winter. Seeing the ways you wear fur is helping me to think about how I might experiment this winter. We'll see what I come up with! Hehe. ps. you look darling in glasses too.

I love everything about this outfit. Casual with a touch of glam with the shoes and fur.
I currently do not fur, but have been thinking if I find the right faux fur item (feels soft and doesn't add much bulk) then I will give it a try.
I have a whole closet full of fur at my parents' house back on the East coast (the real stuff, I'm afraid), and I'm terrified to bring it back to SF! There is a little mink capelet with a Peter Pan collar that I'm absolutely taking back with me after Christmas, though!

I love fur!! I prefer the fake variety, as it's more animal friendly ;) but vintage fur is fair game.
I have several pieces, however, I should really wear them more often! :P

can't agree with you more about this season's trends being designed for you. i had to laugh at our campus fashion magazine's release party last night because everyone was rocking sequins or fur vests :) i love yours!
haha this season's trends totally had you in mind :) fur can be pretty amazing--but usually i just feel like i look like cruella devil from 101 dalmations when i wear it.
i love fur -- I've acquired a fur vest, cape, bag, and headband. tempted to wear them all at once :D kidding...maybe

i got my first faux fur piece last week!! and I'm pretty sure you were my inspiration. It's a detachable collar on a leather moto jacket. I'm in love but also appreciate the versatility. Will wear when I see you this week if the weather cooperates xx
