Friday night I painted my cheetah inspired nails, Saturday was spent wedding planning and Sunday afternoon I made my my own version of Erica Domesek's gray sweatshirt. It was quite the crafty weekend.
DIY Cheetah-esque nails:
2 coats OPI 'Bring on the Bling'
dot on Essie 'Little Brown Dress' (connecting a few of the dots to make them appear more spotty rather than dotty)
I brought my camera everywhere I went this past weekend in hopes of capturing the bright colors of fall. I'm crossing my fingers that the leaves in New York don't all drop off the trees before I arrive next week! This is by far my favorite time of year.

Those pictures of the trees are gorgeous...makes me love fall even more! And your DIY weekend was definitely successful...that sweatshirt is adorable! xo
it looks so much like fall! It feels like summer in the city, 76 degrees in november? crazy
yay for sunday DIY's! your cheetah nails are too perfect & you wear the green beret so perfectly!
oooh! You are so crafty! Great idea on the nails! The sweater looks super comfy! Your hair also looks so cute in that hat, very cozy! I like how you are trying to capture fall colors, whereas here we are awaiting the snow and its been chilly!

Nothing better than fall on the Esplanade! :)
I too, love this time of year. Something about sweaters, food and family all by the fireplace that I love! Have a fabulous Holiday in NY... I can't wait to see what treasures you find!
Cheers~

Great photos... I love your nails!!
I LOVE the nails! The fall colors are so vibrant in your photos!
OOO You will def have leaves, maybe not as many as you want, but there will be some (Granted I am using my Chicago local to influence this!) :)

You have such a great smile. :) AND awesome nails. Isn't it so much fun to do your own nails... and a lot more affordable.. hee hee.
xx Love & Aloha
@sharonlei - i paint my nails a new color at least once a week! definitely more affordable considering how often i like to switch things up! ;)

check out this vintage blazer!!! thought of u!
Look at those leaves! Gorgeous! I will cross my fingers that there will be a few left on the trees when you get to NYC next week. The weather there was fab this past weekend. Bright, crisp, not too cool. And oh my the colors of the leaves and the angled sun on the buildings. So gorgeous! ;) Love the nails and it's fun to see your sparkly ring! Hehe. Thanks also for the great sweatshirt idea! :0 I have an old gray sweatshirt that I've been wanting to update (so I can go out in public with it!)but I haven't been brave enough to give it a shot. I think now I'm motivated! Happy Fall!
@Sist and Sist - too cute!!
@Sheila - you should definitely make use of that old sweatershirt. i'm thinking of sewing an old forever 21 necklace and some beads on the front for a little more pizzaz!
So cute Alicia! I seriously don't have the patience to do my own nails, but it sure would be cheaper, and easier to schedule! (which really is my main issue) Love that you went for cheetah!
NY was gorgeous when I was there a little over a week ago. Hopefully it doesn't take a turn before your trip!
