Vintage Fur and Necklace, Alexander Wang Tee, Rock and Republic Jeans, JCrew Boots, Louis Vuitton Purse
One of the best parts about having a stylish mama, who also happens to be your size, is borrowing from her closet! She was kind enough to leave her vintage fur jacket with me after this past weekend and little does she know she may never get it back. I love how fur, both faux and real, instantly glamorizes any outfit, even the most basic jeans and tee. And the vibrant red lining of this particular coat is as stylish inside as it is on the outside.

I wish my mom had gems like this hidden away in her closet! Actually, I did "borrow" her diamond earrings about three years ago, and she's never getting them back :)
If my mother had a jacket like this, it would be making its way into my closet ASAP. What a great piece!
What a gorgeous piece!! Why can't my mom have lovely things like that stashed away?? I agree, it totally glams up any outfit. I love it with simple jeans.

I love stealing from my moms closet! Currently, a couple of her dresses are at the tailor getting altered to fit me! So excited, and that fur is fabulous!

i have a pair of boots that i took from my mom. love that your mom has that fur coat--it's perfect!
I have a fur shawl/wrap from my grandmother but have never known how to incorporate it into an outfit without looking too dressy...i'll have to try it with jeans/tee/boots!

That fur coat is amazing!!! My mom had one that looked just like it...I wonder if she still has it. I always check out my mom's closet when I go home and see what items I can "borrow". Unfortunately she's given away a lot of her old stuff that I would LOVE to get my hands on now.

that's so cute! not everyone is lucky enough to wear their mom's clothes! i used to steal my mom's shoes though, and i loved stealing the old clothes she kept from when she was young because by the time i was in college, they had come back into style again.
I always steal from my Mama's closet-I'm thinking I'll be a flamingo this year, in a costume she made during my parents' wild disco years in Hollywood (it's a pink spandex onesie with a flaming butt bikini covered in pink faux fur)! Of course, it goes both ways-she wore one of my dresses to a cousin's wedding last month!
