Sunday night after an afternoon of shopping and a mani/pedi date with this pretty lady, my sister and I shared pizza at Delarosa on Chestnut Street. I had been before but forgot just how good their dishes are. Besides our tasty thin crust pizza, which definitely hit the spot, my favorite dish was the eggplant appetizer with fresh burrata (Italian cheese made from mozzarella). Deliciously amazing!! Delarosa not only has great dishes but also fabulous cocktails. On this particular evening we ordered wine and prosecco but their Salty Dog cocktail is both refreshing and delightful. Lastly, I love the long family style tables which gives this modern restaurant a very casual vibe.
My next trip to Delarosa I plan on saving room for dessert: House-made Donuts.
