I woke up bright and early this morning to run in the San Francisco Marathon. This race is particularly special because miles 6 through 9 cross the golden gate bridge. After successfully achieving my 'runner's high' I rewarded myself with a mani / pedi, a short nap and a week long trip to New York City! The latter has actually been planned for quite some time now and I will be hopping on a red eye flight later tonight. This week I will celebrate my fiance's birthday (manana) and attempt to attack the extensive itinerary I have planned for us, which of course includes plenty of shopping and yummy food! ;)

Congrats on running the marathon and have a ton of fun in NYC. If you have time, visit Century 21 downtown - it's like a designer version of Marshall's except tons bigger.

Oh my gosh, a whole freaking marathon?! You go girl! I am so impressed and in awe! Have a fabulous NYC trip and take lots of pictures. I was there in June and had a blast. I want to go back already! Can you fit me in your suitcase? :)

GOOD JOB LADY!!! I ended up running the whole marathon my knee actually didn't give me problems and my playlist kept me going!!! Enjoy your trip you deserve it!! When you get back lets really do a blogger lunch and a day of shopping! xo
