The boyfriend and I filled our Memorial Day weekend with plenty of lounging, movie watching, a picnic, bike rides and mexican food at Zocalo. The warm weather couldn't have been more perfect for dining outside on the patio. One glass of sangria quickly turned into two and as our vanilla cream filled churros arrived for desert I was surprised to discover 3 hours had passed by. Leisurely dinners are my favorite way to spend a night (it's the Italian in me); yet it's always a rare occasion when my boyfriend can last more than an hour lingering over a meal.

Oh man, every restaurant should have churros on the menu.
yumyum... mexican food is the best... the rose pool is very pretty and that churros with vanilla ice cream.... TDF!!!

that dessert at then end looks too good to be true!!! - i myself ate WAY too much junk food this weekend! - and i wore a bikini to the beach - poor people around me, having to see that - haha - OH WELL such is life .. atleast i can laugh about it :o)

Looks like a delicious meal..quite festive. I agree with ELIZABETH on the kudos for the boyfriend lasting 3 hours. I know for a fact that he has never sat still for 3 hours!!! You must be doing something right with him!
