My New Years Eve Alice and Olivia sequined top made an appearance this past weekend. No special occasion or place to go, simply just for fun! I had also been dying to debut my velvet blazer which has been hanging in my closet for a couple years completely neglected and unworn. I recently fixed it up a bit, cut all the beading off and what once seemed pretty old ladyish is now surprisingly very wearable. The sequin / velvet contrast was exactly the look I was going for, shoulder pads and all.

It's funny how spontaneous an outfit can make you feel, especially when you blast Lady Gaga tunes on your way out the door.
