Fifth Gem: Washington Square
When I first moved to San Francisco I did not realize the importance of roof top accessibility from your apartment. It's a luxury to have roof access (I will add that my new place has an outside patio...woot, woot, very excited for summer bbq's)! So, if you do not have a roof top and want to lay out in the summer your options are very limited. I'm pretty pale and actually burn more than I tan, BUT Washington Square is the best place to sunbathe, bring your dog to play and picnic with friends on a warm day!! It's also a great place to people watch. ;)

I love going to Washington square when we are there! And yay for patios- we have four of them in our townhouse here in LA and I just about died and went to heaven when we moved in! City living is so different than everywhere else, isn't it?! Have a great day XOXO
i was there during the summer it was lovely and warm and there were an awful lot of dogs xoxox
