When I first moved into my new apartment it was hard to get used to the Cable Car noise; especially when the trolley set off a few car alarms in front of my bedroom window at 4am! But as silly as it may seem, I now find the rickety sound rather soothing to wake up to. In fact, I've grown to prefer this over my alarm clock.

Haha, when I first got to nyc, the sound of the sirens kept me awake. now when i'm somewhere else, i feel like it's too quiet!!

i think we live freakishly close to each other. the cable car runs in front of our house too. when it goes by and were watching tv we usually have to rewind a bit because its so loud! but i still love it :)
Reading your blog makes me increadibly sad. I miss living in the city. I used to live at Vallejo and Larkin. Oh how I miss it.
